LGBTQ+ Pride Month is celebrated each June across the country, but you’ll find the Pride vibes in Las Vegas all throughout the year. With friendly hospitality, a laid-back mentality and plenty of LGBTQ+ events, of course, the destination offers an inclusive environment that’s always ready for a (Pride) party.

Pride Month Events in Las Vegas

While the official Las Vegas PRIDE celebration doesn’t happen until October, there are plenty of things to do in Las Vegas during the celebratory month of June.

The Las Vegas PRIDE organization keeps the energy going year-round with monthly parties, sometimes themed, to The Phoenix Bar & Lounge. The Pride Month installment of the Las Vegas PRIDE Party is set for June 1.

This is the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World, so taking in a pro game might just be on your itinerary for Pride Month in Las Vegas. How about watching the reigning WNBA champions take the court? Do just that on June 11 during the Las Vegas Aces Pride Night at Michelob ULTRA Arena inside Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.

Start planning your very best roller disco outfit now! Then roll around the rink during Las Vegas PRIDE Skate Night, taking place on June 17 at Crystal Palace Rancho and hosted by local drag personality, Norma Llyaman. (Get it?)

Las Vegas has several LGBTQ+ bars and lounges to explore, and some might have opened since your last visit! Check out four of them during the Las Vegas PRIDE Hop on the Bus Pub Crawl on June 22. The nightlife adventure starts at The Phoenix Bar & Lounge, a bustling hot spot just a short drive from the Strip.

Men’s choir performances are happening across the country all month, and Las Vegas is no different! Catch the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus at UNLV’s Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall on June 30. The local group’s Season 31 finale features colorful selections from Motown to musicals and more.

LGBTQ+ Entertainment & Nightlife in Las Vegas

The Strip’s longest running LGBTQ+ pool party is back, as Temptation Sundays returns for its 15th season at the Luxor Hotel & Casino and runs all summer long. LGBTQ+ special events and soirées only add to the vibrancy of the local bar scene. Lounges and nightclubs—close to both the Strip and downtown—routinely offer drink specials, themed events, live performances and more.

Drag performances take place at venues across Las Vegas, which also boasts two drag production shows at two of the destination’s world-class resorts. You can watch some well-known queens take the stage at Flamingo Las Vegas, where RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! continues to entertain after celebrating its 700th show! Just off the Strip at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas you can watch Frank Marino’s Divas, Drag & Drinks—featuring the legendary diva alongside drag celebrity impersonators.

Just a couple blocks from the Strip is the Fruit Loop, an endearing local term for the neighborhood home to many of Las Vegas’ LGBTQ+ bars and nightclubs. The legendary Gipsy is open again after emerging anew in a stylish space right where the nightclub used to be for so many years. It continues a tradition of fantastic entertainment with performances from RuPaul’s Drag Race queens, cirque-themed events with performers and more. Also nearby are Piranha Nightclub, where you can dance the night away; and Quadz, a billiards bar with daily drink specials and fun weekly events like Cowboy Bingo.

Just off the north end of the Strip you’ll find Fun Hog Ranch, a casual hangout that routinely partners with community organizations for fun, themed nights. Right next door is Flex Cocktail Lounge, where friendly bartenders sling drinks during weekly happenings like karaoke and live productions.

Nearby, The Garage offers patio seating perfectly suited for the destination’s 320+ days of ideal weather. Enjoy a beer and a bite, as the auto shop-themed watering hole has a full kitchen serving bar food favorites.

Queen Las Vegas is the only LGBTQ+ restaurant, bar and nightclub on the Las Vegas Strip. The venue features karaoke, RuPaul’s Drag Race viewing parties and drag queen performances throughout the week, including a Drag Party Brunch on the weekends. Visitors can find more delicious eats and fantastic drag performances each weekend during the Bottomless Drag Brunch at The Garden Las Vegas, located in downtown’s vibrant Arts District.

Annual LGBTQ+ Events in Las Vegas

The yearly Las Vegas PRIDE celebration takes place each year during October’s National Coming Out Day weekend. The party kicks off with the Las Vegas PRIDE Parade downtown on Fourth Street featuring colorful floats, stylish drag queens, exciting entertainment and thousands of festively dressed spectators. The revelry continues each year with the Las Vegas PRIDE Festival, a community event featuring live entertainment, vendors and more. Several events at LGBTQ+ bars and lounges complement the yearly happening—stay tuned for more details!

The winter season also offers LGBTQ+ visitors something special to look forward to, as the Sin City Classic is held every January in Las Vegas. Billed as the largest annual LGBTQ+ sporting event in the world, the weekend of competition attracts over 8,000 athletes competing in 24 different sports. It also features social events and unofficial after-parties at many of Las Vegas’ most popular LGBTQ+ nightspots.

Las Vegas is also home to hotels with the LGBTQ+ traveler in mind. If you’ll be spending a lot of time in Downtown Las Vegas, there’s Bent Inn, the first adults-only LGBTQ+ boutique hotel and gay-owned resort in Las Vegas.
