This fall, Las Vegas is doubling down on its culinary cred. From September 19 to 27, 2025, Wynn Las Vegas will become the ultimate destination for food lovers, hosting both the second annual Revelry culinary festival and the highly anticipated debut of North America’s 50 Best Restaurants, a new regional awards program from the team behind The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

The live ceremony—set for September 25 at the Encore Theater—marks the first time 50 Best will unveil a dedicated list for North America, spotlighting dining excellence across the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean.

What this means for the rest of us: culinary icon sightings like you’ve never had before. While North America’s 50 Best Restaurants is open only to invited industry professionals, there’s plenty of overlap between the two events. And those who attend Revelry are almost certain to see at least a few of their epicurean heroes around the resort. Spotted last year at Revelry: E.J. Lagasse with dad Emeril (he has taken the reins as chef at Emeril’s in New Orleans). We also saw Dominique Crenn (Atelier Crenn), the Michelin three-star chef and previous 50 Best Icon Award winner; José Andres, who recently opened his new iteration of Bazaar Meat in Venetian (his third restaurant opening this year among the six he operates in Las Vegas alone); and Thomas Keller, who has been a Best of the Best honoree. Kwame Onwuachi, who will open Caribbean steakhouse Maroon at Sahara later this year gave one of the talks. We also saw Simon Kim, the restauranteur whose Cote Korean Steakhouse—which already has cult followings in New York, Miami and Singapore—opens at Venetian in October. Restaurant devotees should keep their eyes peeled for JP and Ellia Park, whose Atomix (New York) was the only North American restaurant on last year’s World’s 50 Best list, and during Revelry will be collaborating on a dinner with Wynn’s James Beard Foundation Award-honored chef Sarah Thompson of Casa Playa.

The ranking of North America’s 50 Best Restaurants is determined by a panel of 300 anonymous voters—including chefs, restaurateurs, journalists, educators, and well-traveled gourmets—curated across eight regional academies spanning the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean. The final reveal will follow several pre-announced honors including the Champions of Change, Art of Hospitality, and One to Watch awards. Additional individual honors, including North America’s Best Pastry Chef and Best Sommelier, will be announced live during the ceremony.

If you’re just excited for some incredible food and some celeb sightings, you’ll get those, too. Taylor Sheridan manned the grill at the Four Sixes station at Revelry’s Feast last year, and Aaron Paul was a guest at the event’s Four Sixes Country Cookout.

While the awards remain 50 Best’s flagship program, Revelry complements the celebration with a distinctly Vegas flair, offering immersive chef collaborations, curated tastings, and multi-course dinners that invite food lovers from near and far to engage with the city’s culinary pulse. Together, Wynn Las Vegas and North America’s 50 Best Restaurants are raising the global profile of the region’s vibrant food scene and underscoring the importance of recognizing culinary excellence on a continental scale.
