Fast track

  • Eight Saturdays of fireworks run from June 6–July 25, all starting at 9 p.m.

  • Pools, rooftops, and pedestrian bridges all offer great views.

When and where the official shows happen

Las Vegas is celebrating America250 with eight-minute, synchronized fireworks shows every Saturday at 9 p.m. from June 6 through July 25. Launch sites rotate among Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, The Venetian Resort, MGM Grand, ARIA Resort & Casino, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Resorts World Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower, and, on June 20, downtown rooftops at The Plaza Hotel & Casino, Binion’s Gambling Hall, and Fremont Street Experience parking garages. On July 4, nine rooftops along the Strip ignite together for a fully synchronized Full Strip Spectacular with coordinated red, white, and blue lighting and a 30-minute marquee takeover. The fireworks are choreographed to music broadcast on KOMP 92.3 FM, 97.1 FM The Point, and 98.9 HANK FM, while Sphere’s Exosphere adds complementary programming every Saturday in June and July.

Best spots for pedestrians

These are the easiest viewing options for visitors who want to watch on foot.

  • Center Strip (June 6, July 25, and July 4): Fireworks launch from Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, and The Venetian Resort on June 6 and July 25, making the pedestrian bridges and broad sidewalks near Flamingo, Caesars, Bellagio, and Paris especially strong viewing zones.
  • Park MGM / CityCenter corridor (June 13, July 11, and July 4): When MGM Grand, ARIA, and Planet Hollywood host, the bridges and plazas around Park MGM, ARIA, and T-Mobile Arena put viewers close to the action.
  • North Strip (June 27, July 18, and July 4): On nights hosted by Resorts World, Fontainebleau, and The STRAT, the sidewalks between Resorts World and Sahara offer broad sightlines toward the north-Strip launch points.
  • Downtown (June 20): The June 20 show launches from The Plaza, Binion’s, and Fremont Street Experience parking garages, so viewers can either stand beneath the Viva Vision canopy or step back toward Main Street and Casino Center Boulevard for a wider skyline view.
  • Friday alternatives downtown: The Plaza also hosts “Welcome to the Weekend” fireworks most Friday nights at 9:15 p.m. during summer, giving visitors an extra downtown fireworks option if their trip does not include one of the official Saturday shows.

Lounges, rooftop bars, and restaurants

These venues offer some of the strongest sit-down views for the summer fireworks, especially when reserved for 8 to 8:30 p.m. seating ahead of the 9 p.m. shows.

  • Center Strip and Caesars-area nights: Beer Park and Chéri Rooftop at Paris Las Vegas offer elevated patios facing the Eiffel Tower and Caesars Palace, while Mon Ami Gabi and Eiffel Tower Restaurant are strong choices for center-Strip fireworks dinners. Nearby open-air venues in the Harrah’s and LINQ corridor also offer useful sightlines toward Caesars Palace and The Venetian on June 6, July 4, and July 25.
  • South Strip nights: The Chandelier Bar and Clique at The Cosmopolitan, plus Skybar and Juniper Lounge at Waldorf Astoria, are well positioned for shows launching from MGM Grand, ARIA, and Planet Hollywood. Cabo Wabo Cantina and Blondies at Miracle Mile Shops are additional practical choices because their patios and windows face the Planet Hollywood side of the Strip.
  • North Strip nights: Starlight on 66 and Allē Lounge on 66 at Resorts World are particularly strong for June 27, July 18, and July 4 because of their high-floor Strip panoramas. Rooftop bars and terraces at Fontainebleau and Top of the World at The STRAT also provide elevated viewing for north-Strip launch nights.
  • Downtown: Legacy Club at Circa gives a sweeping rooftop view over Fremont Street and The Plaza, while Oscar’s Steakhouse at The Plaza and select patios at Golden Nugget can work well for both the June 20 show and Plaza’s Friday-night fireworks.

Pools with the best fireworks views

Many of Las Vegas’s best fireworks views come from pools, though access is often limited to hotel guests or those who book cabanas, daybeds, or special event tickets.

  • Paris Las Vegas rooftop pool: This adults-only rooftop pool offers strong center-Strip views for June 6, July 4, and July 25, with guest-only access and cabanas available.
  • The Cosmopolitan Boulevard Pool: The Boulevard Pool faces the Strip directly and is widely known as a premier place to watch major fireworks nights such as July 4; access is generally limited to hotel guests, with cabanas, daybeds, and special event packages often available.
  • Resorts World Athena Infinity Ultra Pool: This adults-only infinity pool and its VIP Pool Bungalows are especially well placed for June 27 and July 18, when Resorts World is one of the host properties.
  • Caesars Palace Venus Pool Lounge and Garden of the Gods: These pool areas are especially appealing on June 6 and July 25, when Caesars is itself one of the launch sites, and they often host night-swim or holiday event programming.
  • Fontainebleau rooftop pools: Because Fontainebleau rises above much of the north Strip, its pool decks are strong options for June 27, July 18, and July 4.
  • Waldorf Astoria eighth-floor pool deck: This elevated, quieter pool deck is a good fit for visitors who want a calmer, non-party viewing atmosphere on center-Strip fireworks nights.
  • Golden Nugget The Hideout rooftop infinity pool: This 21+ rooftop pool works well for downtown fireworks, especially the June 20 official downtown show.
  • The Plaza rooftop pool deck: The Plaza pool deck is one of the better downtown vantage points because it overlooks the property’s own Friday-night summer fireworks and is close to the June 20 official downtown launch area.
  • Off-Strip pool parties: Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch, Durango, and M Resort all host July 4 fireworks-related pool events or viewing experiences, making them useful alternatives for visitors staying away from the Strip.

Timing and logistics

Because the official Saturday shows begin promptly at 9 p.m., it is smart to be in place by about 8:15 to 8:30 p.m., and even earlier on July 4. Rideshare, taxi service, and rail or shuttle options are often easier than driving, since garages near the major host resorts fill quickly and Strip traffic can become slow or restricted on major fireworks nights. Bringing water, a light layer for rooftops or pool decks, and a portable radio app or car radio tuned to one of the Lotus stations makes the experience smooth. Most importantly, plan to celebrate!
