From holiday activities for the family, to master classes in creating holiday cheer, here's a guide for things to do during this season of merriment! 

1. Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens at Bellagio

The resort’s horticulture team creates stunning seasonal displays year-round and the ’Twas – A Visit from St. Nick installation is no exception. Inspired by the classic poem, A Visit from St. Nicholas by Clement Clarke Moore, this enchanting display features whimsical vignettes celebrating the magic of family and giving. Stop by the Peppermints Express Cart for fresh popcorn and signature hot chocolate as you stroll through this winter wonderland, where every detail is a work of art. The display runs from Nov. 15 to Jan. 3.

 

2. Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway 

From Nov. 8 – Jan. 5, experience the magic of 5 million twinkling lights as they illuminate a 2.5-mile drive-through course of dazzling displays. This annual Christmas light show in Las Vegas is an excellent outing for all ages and offers more than just a scenic light show. Hop on the open-air Santa Tram for a unique view of the lights, enjoy festive games and mini-train rides, and snap a photo with Santa himself. With a portion of proceeds supporting local charities, it's a celebratory outing that is as heartwarming as it is spectacular.

3. Enchant at Las Vegas Ballpark 

Home to the World’s Largest Christmas Lights Maze, this dazzling holiday adventure invites you to explore 80,000 square feet of breathtaking light sculptures in this year’s story, Reindeer Games. Help the reindeer find the missing bells to power Santa’s sleigh, glide along the ice-skating trail and wander through the larger-than-life maze. Don’t forget to stop by Santa’s Landing to meet the big guy himself! Special nights include Date Night on Dec. 13, featuring dancing, wine and LINDOR chocolate pairings, and Fiesta Navideña on Dec. 18, a celebration of Latin and Hispanic holiday traditions through music and dance. Running Nov. 22 – Dec. 29, the event also features a holiday village where you can enjoy seasonal treats and shop for the perfect gift!

4. Holiday Parade at Downtown Summerlin

From Nov. 22 to Dec. 21, join the festivities every Friday and Saturday evening as Park Centre Drive lights up with festive floats, dancing, beloved holiday characters and snowfall – all leading up to a special appearance by Santa! This magical parade is free and open to the public.

5. minus5 ICEBAR at The LINQ Promenade

Discover 100 tons of custom-carved ice, including the seats and drinking glasses that make your drink colder as you sip! Enjoy an exciting LED light show and upbeat music while you explore the frosty surroundings, including themed ice rooms and intricate sculptures. The cocktail menu features unique options like the icy mudslide and spicy pineapple punch, while kids ages 7-12 can join in the fun with a refreshing mocktail like the Jack Frost.

6. The Sand Dollar Downtown at Plaza Hotel & Casino

Don’t miss Sippin’ Santa at The Sand Dollar Downtown, a gleeful tiki Christmas cocktail pop-up running Nov. 18 to Dec. 31. Sip on merry, tropical-inspired, crafted cocktails and enjoy the ultimate holiday vibe.

7. The Nutcracker at The Smith Center 

The beloved Christmas classic comes to life with stunning sets, special effects and beautiful choreography performed by the Nevada Ballet Theatre. This must-see holiday show offers an immersive experience with larger-than-life displays and a captivating performance, complete with fluffy snowflakes falling from the “sky.” Presented at the glamorous Reynolds Hall at the arts complex Dec. 14-27.

8. Magical Forest at Opportunity Village

Celebrate the 32nd season of the Magical Forest at Opportunity Village, a 2.5-acre wonderland filled with twinkling trees, festive rides, an 8-hole golf course, carnival games and nightly entertainment. With every dollar spent, you’re supporting over 3,000 individuals with disabilities. Enjoy holiday treats, shop at The Holiday Shoppe and Neon kiosks, and warm up with hot cocoa at Camelot Hall. Plus, the Beer Garden is open for the 21+ crowd on select evenings. Make a night of it with delicious food and a magical experience for the whole family from Nov. 29 to Dec. 31.

9. Fremont Street Experience

Joyful celebrations take place at the downtown entertainment hub throughout the holiday season, including the lighting and display of its massive Christmas tree and menorah. Stop by for a selfie while exploring everything under the dazzling Viva Vision canopy. Plus, there’s nightly free performances, so grab the crew and prepare for an evening of cheer and fun!

10. The Ice Rink at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas 

Starting Nov. 28, Boulevard Pool is transformed into a winter wonderland with a 42,000-square-foot ice-skating rink and glistening views of the Strip. Warm up at The Chalet, a cozy mountaintop-inspired escape with cozy seating and an oversized firepit where you can roast s’mores or enjoy delightful, handcrafted cocktails and bites. Throughout the season, light snow will fall every half hour on selected dates. New this year, the Coca-Cola® Holiday Village will have an igloo ice bar, Coke floats, a holiday message booth and a cable gondola photo. Additional highlights include the Tree Lighting Ceremony hosted by Chelsea Handler on Dec. 1; Date Skate movie nights every Monday and Tuesday from Dec. 2 to Jan. 6; and a New Year’s Eve fireworks viewing party on Dec. 31.

11. Winter Wonderland at Fontainebleau Las Vegas

Experience a magical season at Fontainebleau with Winter Wonderland, running from Nov. 27 through Jan. 5, 2025. Enjoy hands-on holiday experiences like Deck the Doors on Nov. 30, where you’ll learn to create your own holiday wreath with the resort’s floral and horticulture team. Capture the spirit of the season with a photo with Santa at the Bleau Gallerie. Ice skate on the inaugural Oasis Ice Rink and enjoy the Inaugural Tree Lighting Ceremony Dec. 5, hosted by country superstar, Thomas Rhett. Join Derek Hough for Dance Through the Holidays on Dec. 20, and catch Jennifer Hudson performing her new holiday album, The Gift of Love, on Dec. 21 and 22.

12. BAD ELF Pop-Up Bar at Silverton Hotel & Casino

Inspired by The Elf on a Shelf, this spirit-filled experience takes over Shady Grove Lounge Nov. 21 – Dec. 29. Visitors are transported to the North Pole with snow-covered trees, gifts, reindeer and, of course, Santa himself! Enjoy themed cocktails while you relax and snap pics by the cozy fireplace and Christmas tree.

13. Themed Holiday Classes at Wynn Las Vegas 

Pre-book a themed master class and learn from executive chefs throughout the season! Discover how to make yuletide desserts, create edible décor and gain tips for hosting a festive brunch. Class offerings include “Dreamy Holiday Desserts” helmed by SW Steakhouse and Delilah executive pastry chef, Michael Outlaw, and “Holiday Cocktail Entertaining,” guided by Wynn’s mixologist, Mariena Mercer Boarini.

14. Holiday Cactus Garden at Ethel M Chocolates 

Celebrate a cherished Las Vegas tradition at the 31st Annual Holiday Cactus Garden Lights. This working chocolate factory transforms its three acres of cacti and succulents into a dazzling spectacle, glowing with a million twinkling lights. Open nightly from Nov. 1 to Jan. 4, the family-friendly experience is great for all ages. Santa will be there to hear Christmas wishes through Dec. 23. No reservations are required, and proceeds benefit Help of Southern Nevada and Three Square Food Bank – making it a wonderful way to give back to the community. Stroll through the magical garden, enjoy some jolly entertainment, and be sure to grab a cup of the factory’s famous hot chocolate for the journey.

15. Candy Rush at M Resort Spa & Casino 

Get ready to be swept away in a holiday fantasy at the world’s largest animated drive-through light show. Spanning a mile of sparkling lights, this whimsical spectacle features larger-than-life sugar plum fairies, a gigantic gingerbread village and endless sweets, all set to merry music. Produced by World of Illumination and hosted by chef Kuma, this immersive experience is a must-see for the entire family, open Nov. 15 – Dec. 29.

16. Cowboy Christmas at Las Vegas Convention Center

Put on your boots and embrace the Western spirit at Cowboy Christmas, the official gift show of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo! Since 1986, this free Las Vegas tradition has displayed over 500,000 square feet of space and more than 350 exhibitors offering everything from handcrafted gifts and Western wear to unique furniture. Explore the vibrant show floor, enjoy live entertainment at the Ariat Rodeo Live Stage and catch the YETI Junior World Finals. Don’t miss out on this must-see event for the whole family, running from Dec. 5 to 14.

17. Holiday Entertainment at Various Resorts

Las Vegas brings a fantastic lineup of one-of-a-kind holiday performances this season!
