Nigerian Cuisine by MJ

Enjoy the flavors of West Africa at this restaurant offering sit-down service, catering and a very lucrative lunch special. You’ll find it on Maryland Parkway and extremely close to the Strip, particularly the north end where Wynn and Fontainebleau are located. The menu includes rice dishes, meat stews, plantains and yams, and more.

One of the first restaurants to open near the Fremont East Entertainment District, this breakfast and lunch joint from longtime local chef Natalie Young quickly became a favorite among locals and visitors. Breakfast burritos, shrimp and grits, and cinnamon biscuits highlight the breakfast menu, but this spot also has you covered if you find yourself in Downtown Las Vegas for lunch. With soups, salads, sandwiches and more, something is going to hit the spot. Chef Young says she loves Las Vegas because it always supports an underdog, but we’re pretty sure you’re going to call this restaurant a solid winner after trying its tasty eats.

Classic Jewel

This swanky lounge in Downtown celebrates the cocktail hour – 1950s style. With a retro ambiance and menu, the luxurious space offers plush seating, delightful drinks and a daily happy hour with specials on its delicious and stylish sippers. Founded by Ryan and Selina Brown and Jerome Harry, the space also offers a delectable food menu, including salads, tacos, wings, sliders and more.

Braud’s Funnel Cake Cafe
