From bull riding to cattle roping, the rodeo thrives in Vegas. Sept. 17−19, 2021, the Nevada Gay Rodeo Association’s Big Horn Rodeo will once again ride into Las Vegas, bringing with it all the typical rodeo favorites and camping events.
SPRING IN YOUR STEP
Quickly becoming a tradition, ClexaCon gathers LGBTQ+ women and allies each April in Las Vegas to promote positive representation of LGBTQ+ women in media, and content creators from all over come to be a part of the discussion. The convention, in its fifth year, is scheduled for April 15−19, 2021.
FUN IN THE SUN
Take the party to the pool for Temptation Sundays at Luxor Hotel and Casino. The long-running, gay, weekly poolside dance party features new DJs each week, kicks off again in May 2021, and runs through September.
Celebrating its 35th year in June 2021, Golden Rainbow’s Annual Ribbon of Life event unites some of Las Vegas’ best singers, dancers and entertainers in an over-the-top talent showcase, and this one is sure to be a smash hit. Also returning this December, Las Vegas restaurants once again will partner with Golden Rainbow for the annual campaign “Dining Out for Life” benefiting HIV/AIDS organizations.
For the full club experience, FreeZone Nightclub and Bar offers everything from karaoke to pool, while Piranha Nightclub boasts drag queen hosts and lively music on the state-of-the-art dance floor. Looking for something a bit lower key? Flex Cocktail Lounge, just a few miles off the Strip, has nightly entertainment, drink specials, and Thursday-night Drag-aoke.
