The Las Vegas Grand Prix has never had much trouble filling the weekend, but this year it has an afterparty.

The Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix returns November 19–21, continuing a run of sold-out, entertainment-heavy weekends that have helped turn LVGP into a major music event as well as an iconic sporting one. In recent years, race weekend has attracted headliners such as T-Pain, MGK, Zedd, Ludacris, Alesso, and OneRepublic, along with a steady roster of superstar DJs and performers. For 2026, organizers are also broadening the fan experience, with a wider range of ticket options, including returning general admission zones, new grandstands, and fresh hospitality offerings. The long-term extension through 2037 has also given LVGP room to keep building around Grand Prix Plaza, where updates this year include enhancements to F1 DRIVE and other year-round attractions.

F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix official party with Backstreet Boys

This time, Saturday night doesn’t end with the podium. F1 Afterparty, the first official post-race show of the Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix inside Sphere, brings the action indoors with a special performance by the Backstreet Boys. Their Sphere residency offered a preview: a spacecraft sequence before “Larger Than Life,” mountain-scale visuals during “Siberia” and a moving platform above the crowd for “I Want It That Way.” Exact staging plans for the afterparty are still being finalized, but the residency offered a clear indication of how fully the group is prepared to use the Sphere’s 16K wraparound screen, beamformed audio, and haptic seating. (Yes, I felt the earth move in the 300-level seats during one of their residency performances, and not just because Backstreet Boys were the soundtrack to my teenage life.)

Fans can access the afterparty through select race packages, hotel bundles, and add-ons for eligible existing ticketholders. Las Vegas keeps expanding what race weekend can include, and this year, that means a first official Sphere afterparty to go with the on-track spectacle.
