LGBTQ+ Pride is woven into the fabric of Las Vegas and celebrated throughout the year in the inclusive destination. Every October, that revelry amplifies as visitors and locals alike come together to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community at Las Vegas PRIDE.
With activities planned throughout the week and weekend, the official celebration is a fun mix of entertainment celebrating diversity, equality, and inclusion. Drag shows, nightclub soirees, and much more complement the annual events, the Las Vegas PRIDE Night Parade, and Las Vegas PRIDE Festival.
Here are a few highlights that will help you make the most out of your PRIDE experience in the Entertainment Capital of the World!
Las Vegas PRIDE features festive productions and events throughout the celebration, only adding to the destination’s diverse entertainment landscape.
The 2021 edition includes a performance by RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Alyssa Edwards (Alyssa: Memoirs of a Traveling Queen at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino) and a musical pride celebration presented by Vegas Valley Concerts (Over the Rainbow at The Space).
If you’re looking for even more fabulous fun, the leading lovely ladies of RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! celebrate pride almost nightly at the Flamingo Las Vegas. When you’re done watching drag royalty serve some Vegas realness, enjoy the zany and outlandish acts of Absinthe at Caesars Palace before turning the heat up with the hunks of Thunder From Down Under at Excalibur or Magic Mike Live at Sahara Las Vegas.
Las Vegas PRIDE celebrations go around the clock! Whether you’re looking to dance the night away, sip on festive cocktails, or soak up the local LGBTQ+ scene, there’s nighttime fun for every personality!
The 2021 edition features official after-party events throughout the weekend all around downtown Las Vegas, from The Urban Lounge and The Garden in the Arts District to Fremont East’s Discopussy and Park on Fremont hot spots.
In addition to the fantastic lineup of special nighttime soirees, revelers can also show their pride at celebrations held throughout the destination at gay bars and nightclubs. Piranha Nightclub, FreeZone Nightclub and Bar, and Quadz Video Bar, all located in the area affectionately dubbed the Fruit Loop, will keep the celebration going all night long. Other popular options include The Garage, Fun Hog Ranch and Charlie’s Las Vegas, as well as Flex Cocktail Lounge and The Phoenix Bar & Lounge. The best part? All of them are just minutes from the Strip.
The party doesn’t end at the parade or festival! Las Vegas PRIDE also puts on special editions of its monthly events, PRIDE Family Bingo and the PRIDE OUTside Hike, during the annual October celebration.
You also can keep the party going whenever you want, of course! From fabulous production shows highlighting LGBTQ+ talent, to a vibrant and inclusive nightlife scene, to accommodations and dining outlets from community advocates, Las Vegas is a destination where diversity is celebrated — and everyone is welcome to embrace their unique selves. Happy Pride!
