Las Vegas is a 24/7/365 destination — with so much to experience, it’s easy to find yourself up at random hours of the night because the FOMO is real. And around that time, the crowds have thinned, and the planned portion of your night is over. You just came from an amazing concert or an overtime ending game — but you’re still out in the Entertainment Capital of the World! The clock seems to be telling you that morning is coming soon — so why sleep now? And you’re hungry. Crazy hungry. Food needs to happen. Now.

Here’s a guide to some late-night Vegas spots that will save you valuable chow time.

PIZZA

Secret Pizza

You’ve got a whole crew so you don’t mind splitting a big pie with these peeps. But, honestly, you don’t care what you eat. You’ll be waking up in a couple of hours to start another Vegas adventure, and pizza is a champion’s breakfast in the destination. This is the ultimate late-night food in Las Vegas.

  • This hidden eatery at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has a classic music vibe. But it’s not on the directory. You can ask where it is, but more points if you find it yourself. You can walk up and grab a slice of its hand-tossed pies or take out whatever kind you want to eat in your room.

Evel Pie

  • This Downtown Las Vegas spot in the heart of the Fremont Street Entertainment District is a total tribute to Evel Knievel and good pizza. Besides the delicious Goblin Sausage pizza, Giant Hot Pocket Rocket Calzones and its Led Zeppole cannolis, you’ll find tons of stickers, 1970s daredevils and retro games.

Pizza Rock

  • This pizza place, located outside of Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino, is also in Downtown Las Vegas, with a place to walk up and grab a slice to-go. But if you’re here, you might as well hang out. It’s crafty pizza meets chill vibes—and on the weekends, you can catch the music, usually DJs.

TACOS

Tacos are a simple situation. You had dinner before. And then a long night of experiencing the very best entertainment and nightlife Vegas has to offer happened. And now you need tacos.

Taco Bell Cantina

  • Taco Bell at Harmon Corner, just a stone’s throw away from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, is right on the Strip and is likely one of the brand’s fanciest restaurants ever. It’s two stories and has a patio, VIP lounge and DJ booth. But don’t worry. It still serves the classics alongside beer, twisted freezes and plenty of Fire! Sauce.

Tacos El Gordo

  • The word “authentic” may not mean much at 4 a.m., but the visual of a good-portioned, Tijuana taco with crazy, delicious meat might stick with you. Adobada, carne asada, suadero — whatever you get, it’s gonna be satisfying. And don’t be surprised if you’re craving these things in a few days. It’s been said that its tacos have addictive powers. This late-night mainstay, located across the street from Resorts World Las Vegas, is beloved for its amazing eats.

El Dorado Cantina

  • If you want more of a sit-down experience, this place, located behind the Strip on Sammy Davis Jr. Drive, is about as upscale as it gets in the middle of the night. They serve up traditional street tacos, signature tacos like filet mignon, and they even have vegan tacos on the menu.  So, kick back and enjoy the legit guac, a chicken bowl and, of course, some tacos!

BURGERS

It’s a specific kind of late-night hunger. You went to a concert or live event (somewhere that made you move a lot). Maybe you ate before, but you’ve worked up a burger-sized appetite. This differs from a pizza hunger because you’re not in the mood to share.

Shake Shack

  • Going to a game at T-Mobile Arena or seeing a show at Dolby Live at Park MGM Las Vegas? This import, located at New York-New York Hotel & Casino, will be the go-to spot after witnessing a good game or spectacular concert. Grab a classic ’Shroom burger, Shack Stack, hot dog, and frozen custard while you watch your fellow night owls ring in the new day.

White Castle

  • It invented the modern hamburger, so it knows what’s up. And it’s still pretty much the OG recipe. A White Castle craving is something very unique. You know when you have it and you know nothing else will do. Somehow, enjoying a national favorite is that much better when it’s on the Strip.

In-N-Out

  • This is the place to go when you need simplicity. It’s been a long day… and night. You want the basics. But before you go, take a gander at the secret menu. There are some slight additions that can really enhance your burger experience. Start here: animal fries, double-double animal style. Oh, and get a hat. Whether you’re grabbing a burger at The LINQ Hotel & Experience or off-Strip at the OG location right off Tropicana Avenue, In-N-Out is always a great idea.

BIG PLATES

Sometimes the details don’t matter. You just need a lot of food. You want options and portions. No restrictions. No questions. Twenty-four-hour restaurants in Las Vegas are essential knowledge.

Peppermill Restaurant and Fireside Lounge

  • This old-school classic just north of Wynn Las Vegas fits the bill. If you’re in the mood for that way-back-when Vegas vibe, this is your place. But if you don’t care and just want the largest plate of food you’ve ever had, this is still your place. Try the streak and eggs, nachos, omelets, waffles, or New York steak, and top it off with a sundae.

Pho Kim Long

  • Some say it’s the best Vietnamese/Chinese food in Chinatown. Whether you agree or not, there’s no debate that the pho comes in generous portions. And it’s incredible. At any time of the night. And while you’re at it, get the egg rolls.

ALL-AMERICAN

You were out late, but other than that, it’s been a pretty mellow night. These places give you a classy atmosphere (at least by 3:30 a.m. standards).

Grand Lux

  • If you’re staying at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, this one’s a no brainer. It’s right downstairs from your room. It’s an all-night restaurant with sit-down service, and will continue to impress whoever you’re impressing. There’s a huge menu with lots of breakfast, lunch and dinner options.

Freedom Beat

  • This is the brainchild of Hell’s Kitchen champ Scott Commings. The chef wanted to create a cool, casual atmosphere for food and music lovers—and we’d agree he succeeded. Plus, there’s live music most nights (but, usually before 11 p.m.) at this spot in the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino.

LATE-NIGHT SPECIALS

Village Pub & Cafe

  • Ellis Island Hotel, Casino & Brewery is just a short cab ride—or walk, depending on where you’re staying—from the Strip, so this favorite among locals and visitors already has the “convenience” box checked. The café, open 24/7, routinely features fantastic dining and drink specials (daily, weekly, and monthly)—including a steal of a deal with its ever-present $9.99 Top Sirloin Steak Special.

Coronado Cafe

  • No matter what time of day—or night—it is, this 24-hour coffee shop at South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa offers an expansive menu of American breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites. Naturally a hit for late-night dining, the restaurant also features a Late-Night Specials menu, with discounted dishes like Buttermilk Biscuits & Country Gravy, a half-pound cheeseburger with French fries, and a 7-oz. steak with eggs, hash browns, toast, and jelly. The best part? It’ll be tough for a single tab to go over $10!

Market Street Cafe

  • While this late-night spot at California Hotel & Casino offers an All-Day Breakfast Menu and daily specials throughout the week, it’s become known for its World-Famous Oxtail Soup. A Hawaiian favorite, the big bowl of braised meat and veggies in savory broth might be exactly what’s calling your name at 2 a.m. But if it’s not, the restaurant’s extensive menu features other Ninth Island favorites among appetizers, salads and sandwiches, and so much more.

It may be late. But this is Vegas. There are plenty of places to get 24-hour food here, where and when you need it. Go, eat and enjoy the hours that most of us don’t get to!
