GAME TIME:
The best live sports are always in season in The Greatest Arena on Earth. Some of the biggest sporting events in 2023 are in Las Vegas.
In the springtime, the 2022 WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces hold court and continue their quest for another title throughout the summer. Plus, L’Étape Las Vegas by Tour de France brings the heat as seasoned to amateur cyclists take over the city.
Also in the spring, the Triple-A Las Vegas Aviators take the field and play into September. The National Lacrosse League’s Las Vegas Desert Dogs, the XFL’s Vegas Vipers and the USL’s Las Vegas Lights FC soccer club also take center stage in the spring and play through the fall.
Basketball’s future stars are always on display in the NBA Summer League. Las Vegas is also the home of UFC International Fight Week each July. It’s also the site of several international soccer matches, such as Concacaf Nations League Finals June 15-18 and England's Manchester United and Germany's Borussia Dortmund taking the field on Sunday, July 30th.
Pro football’s season kicks off in the fall as the Las Vegas Raiders take the gridiron and play into the winter months. Las Vegas also hosts the Pac-12 championship game and other college football games as well.
Also in the fall, the world’s top cowboys compete in the Professional Bull Riding Series Championship and the National Finals Rodeo.
This November, Formula 1 racing returns to Las Vegas for the first time in more than 40 years with the Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix, and the world’s best stock car drivers race for glory in the NASCAR South Point 400.
On Feb. 11, 2024, the Big Game comes to Las Vegas for the first time, along with the reimagined NFL Pro Bowl Games.
