Like everything in Vegas, people-watching here is next level. This is the place people come to be whoever they aren’t in their everyday lives—free of judgment. That said, if people-watching strikes your fancy, we’ve rounded up the perfect Vegas spots for it.

1. The LINQ Promenade + Experience

The LINQ Promenade + Experience is an open-air entertainment district located at the center of the Strip. Check out its mix of retail, entertainment and food options with ideal people-watching seating. It’s also home of the High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel, if you feel like people-watching from 550 feet in the air.

2. Mon Ami Gabi (Paris Las Vegas)

Mon Ami Gabi is a great place to go for dinner and a view. This French bistro is known for its ideal location on the Strip and al fresco eats. Pro tip: sit on the patio for prime people-watching and a view of the Bellagio fountains.

3. Fremont Street Experience

The Fremont Street Experience is the perfect people-watching place in Downtown Las Vegas. Along this five-block entertainment district you can hang for a drink, grab a bite to eat, zip line above the crowd or stroll under the VivaVision canopy that's lit up with 12.5 million lights and 550,000 watts of sound.

4. First Friday

First Friday Art Celebration happens once a month in Downtown Las Vegas—you guessed it, the first Friday of each month—and is the perfect opportunity for a little people-watching. Starting at the Arts Factory, you’ll find the works of more than 100 artists, food trucks, entertainers and local shops participating in the festival.

5. PBR Rock Bar (Planet Hollywood)

PBR Rock Bar is where you’ll find a different kind of crowd. Frequenters of PBR Rock Bar dig the modern country vibe and comfort food they have to offer. Between the live music, DJ and mechanical bull, people-watching here is easy as pie.

6. McCarran International Airport

Whether you’re flying in or out of Vegas, people from all over the world converge at the one place for the ultimate people-watching experience—McCarran International Airport. But seriously, you’ll see so many different kinds of people coming to Vegas because everyone can have fun here. Take a sec to just soak in the variety.

7. Post-dayclub

People-watching at its finest happens when dayclubs start wrapping up. We pick Wet Republic (MGM Grand) and Encore Beach Club (Encore at Wynn) for their solid DJ lineups, and the people who go to dance the day away. Check out these hot spots and wait until they close down to prepare for evening shenanigans; you’ll be happy with the on-point people-watching.

8. Carnaval Court (Harrah’s)

Carnaval Court is known for being an open-air street party under the big top at the center of the Strip. People-watching here isn’t limited to just the bystanders; you’ll watch live bands, street performers, flair bartenders and more.

9. The Park

At the west end of the Strip is The Park connecting New York-New York and the T-Mobile Arena. This outdoor space is filled with restaurants, bars, entertainment and art structures that give you plenty of options to hang out and do some excellent people-watching.

10. The Roof Bar at Inspire

Located in the Fremont East District is the Inspire Theater. People-watch from above at its rooftop bar that overlooks this popular downtown bar-hopping destination. Just across the street you can also sit on the patio of Park on Fremont and people-watch from ground level.
