The Latest Dining

AQUA Seafood & Caviar Restaurant at Resorts World Las Vegas is the latest dining experience from Michelin-starred chef Shaun Hergatt. The restaurant offers an extensive menu of caviar alongside selections of antipasti, entrees and more – and the plating of the dishes is just as beautiful as the diner’s surroundings. This is a must-try experience.

Ole Red Las Vegas at Horseshoe Las Vegas is a music-venue-meets-restaurant from country star Blake Shelton. Offering delicious food, fun and live music in a high-energy atmosphere, this spot is a must visit! Whether you’re chowing down on a burger or salad or just enjoying the entertainment, this place offers one heck of an evening.

 

The Canteen at Rio Las Vegas opening follows the current food hall trend, as the unique, upscale food-court upgrades have been popping up all around the destination. This is the latest to cut the red ribbon, and the food options don’t disappoint. The spot is home to six eateries, including Southland Burrito Co., Shogun Ramen, Tony Luke’s (a cheesesteak chain), Tender Crush (a chicken tender concept from the people behind Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer), Nama Nama (a sushi spot), and Attaboy Burger. Whatever you choose at this culinary hot spot, you literally cannot go wrong.

Brasserie B by Bobby Flay at Caesars Palace is the Food Network personality’s latest restaurant at the resort, where he also operates Amalfi. While the celebrity chef is more known for his Latin and Italian fare, the food phenom is cooking up some classic French favorites at this new spot. From the French fries (or frites, for purists) with red pepper mayonnaise to the haricots verts salad to the delicious entrees such as the duck confit or Dover sole, this will be a meal to remember.

Straight from a famed sandwich shop in Italy, All’Antico Vinaio at UnCommons offers between-bread selections that are going to blow your mind. Its menu of sandwiches is world-renowned with selections featuring the signature, freshly baked Tuscan bread piled with the very best Italian meats, cheeses and veggies.

Located in Vegas’ fantastic Chinatown neighborhood just off the Strip, Casa De Raku offers visitors something different. The acclaimed chef Mitsuo Endo is serving up traditional European tapas—and wine—at the restaurant inspired by the flavors and variety of Spanish cuisine.

The Pinky Ring by Bruno Mars at Bellagio, a one-of-a-kind cocktail lounge and jazz bar from the iconic superstar, offers a nightlife experience with entertainment and cocktails. The venue features moody lighting, live music, DJs spinning vinyls, a specialty bar program and best-in-class audio.

Carl’s Donuts has been serving the breakfast specialty to visitors and locals alike for more than 50 years. Visitors can now find its legendary baked goods downtown, as The Donut Hole has opened adjacent to the Fremont East Entertainment District. The new shop offers a delectable offering of donuts, pastry and more—the perfect start to your Vegas morning!

New Places to Stay: Resorts

Fontainebleau Las Vegas is the latest resort to open on the Strip. Between its impressive restaurant collection – 36 new-to-market eateries – nightlife options, shopping boutiques, world-class spa, gaming offerings and gorgeous pool area, this luxury hotel has plenty to offer visitors. Count how many bow ties (the resort’s signature feature) you can identify while you explore the sparkling new resort. Do just that in between dining at restaurants like the modern steak house Papi Steak, taking in its awe-inspiring art program, or enjoying a world-class DJ’s set at LIV Las Vegas, a nightclub featuring an incredible view of the night’s talent for any ticketholder.

Durango Casino & Resort, which recently opened in the southwest Las Vegas Valley, offers 15 restaurants, a food hall, gaming offerings, elegant rooms, a beautifully landscaped pool area with cabanas and so much more. Just under 10 miles from the Strip, there’s so much to take in at this new offering. Whether you’re enjoying a margarita and a perfectly prepared dish at Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant, enjoying the gorgeous Las Vegas weather at Bel-Aire Backyard (opening March 11) or sitting down for your team’s game at The George Sportsmen’s Lounge, any day at this resort is going to be nothing short of spectacular.

The Latest Entertainment & Sports

While the destination awaits the arrival of the Las Vegas A’s in 2028, there’s plenty of Minor League Baseball action to catch at Las Vegas Ballpark. Located just over 10 miles from the Strip, the spectacular Summerlin stadium is home to the Las Vegas Aviators and features fabulous amenities—including elevated eats with bites and beers from local restaurants and breweries. The hometown team kicks off the 2024 season with a home opener on Friday, March 29 – but be sure to check out the full schedule!

March Mania is an exciting time in Las Vegas. The destination has been playing host to countless conference championships every year, offering NCAA fans some of the best basketball action during the event. From the Mountain West Conference at Thomas & Mack Center to the Pac-12 Men’s Tournament at T-Mobile Arena and even more, there’s always something happening! Catch all the action during Brackets at The Stadium at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, which is complete with stadium-style seating, a 9-foot-by-16-foot screen and over 100 TVs! Upgraded seating and full-service betting will also be available for the experience, which runs from Thursday, March 21 through Saturday, March 23. Or check out March Hoops on the 12th Floor, located at The D Las Vegas on iconic Fremont Street, offering another unique viewing experience. The resort is transforming its Detroit ballroom into a viewing event free and open to the public from Wednesday, March 20 to Sunday, March 24. They’ll have blackjack tables, Circa Sports betting stations, and an on-site bar.

Sphere has announced shows from legendary acts. Jam band Phish will take the stage in April, while Dead & Company, made up of members of the legendary band Grateful Dead and more current guitarist and singer John Mayer, will offer a string of dates spanning May to June. The venue also offers The Sphere Experience, a tech-focused and immersive tour through space featuring a screening of Postcard from Earth, which was filmed to take advantage of Sphere’s amazing audio and visual capabilities.

Las Vegas residencies continue to be announced, with the world’s leading musical artists signing on for exciting engagements at some of the destination’s world-renowned showrooms. An influential hip-hop act Wu-Tang Clan is taking the stage at The Theater inside Virgin Hotels Las Vegas in March, while R&B group Jodeci performs at House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. Mariah Carey is launching her new residency in April at Dolby Live at Park MGM Las Vegas, where Maroon 5 is back in action for more shows in May. On top of that, the country singer Shania Twain is returning for more Vegas residency action at Bakkt Theater inside Planet Hollywood & Casino starting in May.

The entertainment calendar is also routinely packed with some of the hottest touring acts. Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas is gearing up for its Free April Fridays concert series, which offers complimentary shows from genre-spanning groups and artists. The monthlong event kicks off April 5 with the Pop 2000 Tour featuring O-Town, BBMAK, Ryan Cabrera and LFO taking its stage and *N’SYNC’s Chris Kirkpatrick playing host. Subsequent Friday events include Alien Ant Farm and The Ataris (April 12), The Sugarhill Gang and Tag Team (April 19) and Lit (April 26). The best part? It’s all just a warm-up for the attraction’s anticipated annual Downtown Rocks free concert series, which will bring even more fantastic music to Fremont Street through the summer.

ARTE MUSEUM LAS VEGAS, an immersive digital art experience at 63 Las Vegas, is the brand’s first exhibit in North America. Housed in a $25 million, two-story, 30,000-square-foot space just steps from the Las Vegas Strip, its installations will amaze and astound.

Play Playground, an interactive playground at Luxor Hotel and Casino, offers more than 20 larger-than-life nostalgic games that will for sure bring you back to your childhood days. From Doctor, Doctor!, a game asking players to put “transplants” back with their steady hands (sound familiar?) to Perfect Popper, an activity in which participants place shapes in their correct places before the timer runs out (another throwback, right?), this interesting space offers a ton of fun. Add in two bars to grab drinks at and this is a fantastic day, or night, in Vegas.
