Your Guide to Pride Events

National LGBTQ+ Pride Month happens every June, but the social calendar stays prideful in Las Vegas long after the sun sets on summer! And here, all official PRIDE events take place in the fall.

With National Coming Out Day on Oct. 11, the month brings the annual Las Vegas PRIDE celebration, this year marking its 40th anniversary. The party kicks off each year with the Las Vegas PRIDE Parade. The fabulous nighttime procession packs Fourth Street in Downtown Las Vegas with vibrant floats, stylish drag queens, exciting entertainment, and thousands of festively dressed spectators.

The revelry continues each year with the Las Vegas PRIDE Festival, a community event featuring live entertainment, vendors and more at Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas. Several events at LGBTQ+ bars and lounges complement the yearly happening, offering visitors multiple venues to experience throughout the weekend.

The organization putting on Las Vegas PRIDE also presents events throughout the year, such as Las Vegas PRIDE Family Bingo on the first Wednesday of the month, and the Las Vegas PRIDE OUTside Hike, alternating hiking trails each month throughout the Las Vegas valley.

The winter season also offers LGBTQ+ visitors something special to look forward to, as the Sin City Classic is held every January in Las Vegas. Billed as the largest annual LGBTQ+ sporting event in the world, the weekend of competition attracts over 8,000 athletes competing in 24 different sports. It also features social events and unofficial after-parties at many of Las Vegas’ most popular LGBTQ+ nightspots.

And in the summertime, visitors can splash under the sun throughout the season on Saturdays at Elevate PRIDE Pool Party at SAHARA Las Vegas or at the longtime LGBTQ+ pool party, Temptation Sunday at Luxor Hotel and Casino. Catch a glimpse at what you can expect from VEGAS ON below!

LGBTQ+ Entertainment

Las Vegas’ large-scale LGBTQ+ events and complementary soirées only add to the vibrancy of the local bar scene. Nearby lounges and nightclubs welcome visitors and locals alike throughout the year for social events.

Fun Hog Ranch is a casual hangout that routinely partners with community organizations for fun, themed events, while The Garage offers patio seating perfectly suited for the destination’s 320+ days of ideal weather.

The destination also has several venues that offer thrilling live entertainment. Queen Las Vegas is the only LGBTQ+ restaurant, bar and nightclub on the Las Vegas Strip, a recent addition, and is already making a name for itself. For some daytime excitement, visitors can find delicious eats and performances by well-known drag performers each weekend at The Garden Las Vegas’ Bottomless Drag Brunch. Plus, in October, they’ll also be hosting Drag Bingo and Popstar Friday’s. More insight from VEGAS ON below.

Don’t forget to check out Charlie’s Las Vegas, which features fantastic entertainment like karaoke, drag and more.

The destination offers LGBTQ+ visitors an impressive lineup of performances, from the queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race LIVE! at Flamingo Las Vegas and at Señor Frog’s at Treasure Island – TI Hotel & Casino, to the hunky dancers of Thunder from Down Under at Excalibur Hotel and Casino.
