Start your weekend a day early. We won't tell anyone.
Ditch Fridays at the Palms will make it all worthwhile. Melanie Salas-Delillo, director of marketing, gives us an inside look at Palms Casino Resort and this Las Vegas summertime pool party staple.
“We have the ultimate party cabana. They are equipped with 50-inch-screen TVs, DirecTV, Xbox, and even PlayStation. You can order food and have full bottle service to each cabana,” Salas-Delillo said.
The two-acre pool complex at Palms Casino Resort is sure to amaze. Able to accommodate up to 3,000 people, it's broken down into three different areas.
The first pool is ringed by six woven-metal, cylindrical cabanas with sophisticated custom interiors. An ankle-deep wading area gives way to a second pool. To the right are several two-story bungalows -- each with their own pool, double-sided fireplace, lawn, and bedroom. To the left are round, canvas cabanas flanking a concert stage. Canvas-topped teepees with AstroTurf occupy a terrace above three stone cabanas, with a waterfall flowing from the second floor to shield a bar. In the space between the first two pools, a triangular glass bar and six blackjack tables are set beneath the tiny glass-bottomed third pool, with two more waterfalls feeding the wading areas.
