Rooftop patios, music under the stars, pub crawls and food festivals… sound familiar? That’s what summer is all about, after all. Break out from your summer routine and find new ways to chill. From grabbing a drink at an ice bar to skydiving indoors, we’ve come up with five fresh ways to cool down in Las Vegas.

1.    Minus5° Ice Bar @ Mandalay Bay/Venetian

What better way to cool down than to play in an interactive ice box? At minus5°, everything that you can see or touch is made of ice – the walls, seats, chandeliers, and even your drinking glass! Once you’ve been fitted with a coat and gloves, get lost in the themed rooms and enjoy an LED light show, the hottest beats, specialty cocktails, and ice sculptures in a temperature-controlled setting. If that’s not enough, a professional photographer will capture your most Instagrammable moments so you don’t need to remove your gloves! Win-win!

2.    Pool @ Downtown Grand

Chill out amongst the classic neon lights of downtown Las Vegas. The Downtown Grand’s rooftop Citrus Grand Pool Deck, a picturesque pool-party paradise (say that five times fast), is the perfect way to refresh yourself this summer. Splash around in the infinity pool, enjoy poolside dining created by Hell’s Kitchen Season 12 winner Chef Scott Commings, or relax in the shaded cabanas. With a fire pit and “backyard games” like foosball and table tennis, the Citrus Grand Pool Deck will keep you entertained all day long. Plus, access to the pool deck is always free for hotel guests, visitors, and locals so you can save your pocket change for other Vegas adventures. Cha-ching!

3.    Arctic Ice Room @ Qua Baths & Spa – Caesars Palace

One of the world’s most unique treatments, this one is for the spa lovers! Under an architectural dome ceiling, The Arctic Ice Room at Qua Baths & Spa in Caesars Palace is surrounded by sleek glass pebble and tiled walls while the room maintains a crisp 55° temperature. The floors and benches are heated so you can stay cool – and warm – in all the right places. Moisturizing “snowflakes” fall from above into the mint-infused air. Access to the Arctic Ice Room is available with any spa treatment offered by Qua Baths & Spa, as well as with purchase of a one-day amenity pass to Caesars Palace. Stay cool and feel great? Yes please!

4.    Grand Canal Shoppes

Home to over 160 signature stores, six art galleries and exceptional restaurants helmed by celebrity chefs, the cobblestone pathways at the Venetian-inspired Grand Canal Shoppes is a wonderful retreat. Stroll over to Cocolini’s in St. Mark’s Square for an authentic Italian gelato, glide through the canals in a gondola while being serenaded by the gondoliers’ warm voices or shop for a chic hat or swimsuit to wear while enjoying the Vegas sunshine. Shopping at The Venetian and The Palazzo is the perfect way to experience a steamy Italian getaway while staying cool. Ciao!

5.    Indoor skydiving @ Vegas Indoor Skydiving

Defy gravity at Vegas Indoor Skydiving. Suit up, step into the sky-diving zone, and fly! With a giant fan bringing wind speeds up to 120 mph, you can float and free-fall through the air – without actually jumping out of an airplane! This fun and interactive way to keep cool also checks an item off your bucket list. Indoor Skydiving offers equipment rental, professional training, personalized flight instruction, videography and of course, photo-taking services.
