Mandalay Place is a one-of-a-kind retail experience, located on a 100,000-square-foot
sky bridge that connects Mandalay Bay and Luxor resorts. Stores unique to Las Vegas -
not found anywhere else on the Strip - include Fornarina, Nike Golf and Urban Outfitters,
Shoe Obsession.
Entertainment options abound here; the spacious casino has over 120 gaming tables,
2,000 slot machines, a high-limit gaming parlor, poker room and a 300-seat, full-service
race and sports book. In May, the Mandalay Bay Theatre becomes home to the smash hit "Disney's Lion King," the
Tony Award winning musical from Broadway. The House of Blues concert hall hosts an
eclectic mix of musicians, such as Bob Dylan, B.B. King, Guns N' Roses and LeAnn
Rimes. H.O.B. also manages the exclusive International House of Blues Foundation
Room on the top floor.
Chef Hubert Keller's restaurant, Fleur de Lys, recently joined an already stellar dining
scene that includes Charlie Palmer's Aureole, Wolfgang Puck's Trattoria del Lupo, China
Grill, Border Grill, rumjungle, Red Square, Red White and Blue and the adjacent Charlie
Palmer Steak and Verandah Cafe at the Four Seasons.
Not your typical attraction, Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay transports visitors to an aquatic
world where 2,000 creatures from the world's tropical waters make their home. Mandalay
Beach features sand-and- surf (waves up to six feet high), a lazy river ride and three
pools. The nearby Spa Mandalay provides guests with the ultimate in relaxation
treatments.
As one of the larger convention centers in Las Vegas, the Mandalay Bay Events Center
stretches more than 1.6 million square feet and regularly hosts major concerts and
sporting events. But weekly, you'll find the event center hosting corporate events in
numerous meeting rooms and convention halls. It's a flexible space that accommodates a
range of buiness and special events annually.
