H20-- There's plenty of water in Vegas!

Lakes, rivers, and shark tanks-- water features all around the valley!

You don't think of Las Vegas and immediately plan a cruise. And you don't initially plan a trip to the beach. But a quick look around the city, and you'll be surprised how many water attractions actually exist.

Just miles from Las Vegas sits tranquil Lake Mead, one of the world's largest man-made reservoirs spanning 110 miles from the mighty Hoover Dam. After a day of sightseeing, you can relax in comfort at various hotels in the Lake Las Vegas resort, where restaurants and hotel rooms overlook the scenic lakeside village of Montelago.

Back in town, stroll up Las Vegas Boulevard and enjoy the ever-popular Fountains of Bellagio, as seen in the classic movie remake "Ocean's Eleven." Down the street, pirates take over TI (Treasure Island) as they battle the Sirens of TI in a man-made lake, complete with pirate ship! Things are a bit more peaceful at Wynn Las Vegas where the "Lake Of Dreams" is surrounded by a mountainside fortress and provides solace from the chaos of the city nearby.

You can surround yourself by sea life of every imaginable species at Mandalay Bay's Shark Reef, North America's only predator-based aquarium and exhibit. See sharks of all kinds, along with sawfish, giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranha, moon jellies and the rare golden crocodiles. In all, there are over 2,000 animals in 1.6 million gallons of seawater. The Silverton Hotel features a 117,000-gallon reef aquarium, with daily feeding shows and two 500-gallon jelly fish aquariums next door - as if one just wasn't enough!

If sea life isn't your cup of tea, then sit back and enjoy the best water shows in the world. Bellagio is home to Cirque du Soleil's award-winning show "O," where circus performers fly above and into the water stage below. Le Reve is the creation of theater mogul Dragone and finds its home at Wynn Las Vegas. Catch high-flying artistry in a spectacular water theater-in-the-round where every seat is the best seat in the house! Over at the Imperial Palace, you can enjoy a poolside Hawaiian Luau. This popular show brings you great Hawaiian music, dancing, and of course, great food!

And while summer is still heating up Las Vegas, be sure to stop by your favorite Ultimate Pool. Vegas resorts are known for their over-the-top swimming pools that feature daytime entertainment, food, and sizzling parties. Check out your favorite pool and book a special package to come to Vegas Right Now!
