Weddings

There's no cooler place to get hitched than Las Vegas.

Your wedding day - it's a celebration of love, and a lifelong memory. It's your big day, and you want things your way.

Before you say, "I do," to your special someone, Las Vegas is ready to help you walk the aisle in style.

Whether it's a formal affair with tuxedos and gowns and a huge ballroom, or a drive-thru chapel with a theme, such as Intergalactic or a medieval union – Vegas has it all waiting for you.

All you have to do is show up and call the shots. Well, there are a couple of rules. You also need $60, valid identification and a Social Security number to get your marriage license at the Clark County Marriage License Bureau (open from 8 a.m. to midnight, even on holidays). That's not so bad, though, is it?

But from there, it's easy. Most chapels have a full complement of services to accommodate any wedding plans. Need a ring or two? They've got 'em. Flowers? Check. Gown and tuxedo? Rentable. Leave your worries behind and enjoy the biggest moment of your life, in the most exciting destination.

Simply check out our Weddings section, where you can search for everything from formal wear to limousines to chapels. Who needs a wedding planner? It's all right at your fingertips.

It's no wonder Las Vegas has been one of the world's most popular destinations for weddings for more than 50 years. The Marriage Bureau issues an average of more than 100,000 licenses a year.

Here's the best part – once the nuptials are over, with its endless entertainment, you're already in the perfect place for a honeymoon!

The Legalities

Neither blood tests nor waiting periods are required of couples wanting to get married in Las Vegas. The legal age is 18 for men and women (proof of age is required) and licensing fees are $60.
