Since releasing her freshman album in 1989, the Latina "Queen of Rock" Alejandra Guzmán has earned recognition as one of the greatest rock artists of her time and will be bringing her iconic music to Las Vegas this summer during the Rock Recargado ("heavy rock") Tour.
A music sensation in Mexico, Guzmán is the daughter of actress Silvia Pinal and rock 'n' roll legend Enrique Guzmán but has paved her own way in the music industry with a scroll of credentials and achievements to her name.
Since launching her career in the late '80s, the singing sensation has sold more than 20 million copies of her 17 albums worldwide and has performed more than 900 concerts that have earned her a loyal fan base and a myriad of nominations and awards to boot.
Among her accomplishments, Guzmán won the coveted Latin Grammy Award for Best Rock Solo Album after releasing 2001's "Soy." Additionally, the performer achieved breakthrough success with 1991's seminal "Flor de Papel," which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Latin Pop Album. Similarly, the Latina legend is known for classic, chart-topping hits including "De Verdad," "Quiero Estar Contigo," and "Rosas Rojas," among others.
Keeping her fans energized and wanting more, La Guzmán, as she's affectionately referred to by fans, entertains with her reputable racy image, glamorous costume changes during her shows and, of course, high energy that she exudes through her powerful voice.
Currently recording her latest album, "La Guzmán En Primera Fila," fans can expect to hear her new single, "Entre Los Dos" in addition to hits from her past chart-topping albums including "Fuerza," "Unico," and "20 Años De Èxitos En Vivo."
See for yourself how Guzmán continues to thrill audiences across the globe during her one-night engagement at The Pearl inside the Palms Casino Resort this September.
